Bringing together the mind behind sensual romantic pictures like Call Me By Your Name and Bones and All and the young stars of projects like Euphoria, The Crown, and West Side Story almost guarantees viewers are in for a passionate, unpredictable, and rather sexy few hours when Challengers swings into theatres on April 26, 2024.

Here, Zendaya will take on the part of rising grand slam tennis star Tashi, a sportsperson involved in a love triangle with Josh O'Connor's Patrick and Mike Faist's Art.

As expected, things get a touch tricky and intense as this particular game unfolds, with the stars of the film noting (via Empire) how director Luca Guadagnino was less interested in the ins and out of tennis when shooting the project, and more curious about the "bodies and sweat."

And if the first trailer for the incoming romantic sports dramedy is anything to go by, expect more tension than you can likely bear, some of the sexiest tennis you ever did see, and, as noted by Guadagnino himself (via IndieWire), three "beautifully complex" and "really f****d-up people".
