10 Most Absurd Forgotten Moments In Star Wars History
3. Anakin Wrestled Greedo In A Deleted Scene - Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Long before he was being made to look like he shot first, a little pain in the ass by the name of Greedo was once again firing the first shot during a somewhat ridiculous scene that was ultimately omitted from The Phantom Menace.
Initially, seeing a young Anakin Skywalker grappling with a Rodian child on the streets of Tatooine didn't seem that unusual, with Ani unleashing some of the anger that would ultimately consume him in the wake of being branded a "cheater" by this other kid.
However, on the back of Qui-Gon's attempts to teach 'The Chosen One' the value in simply tolerating someone's opinion, the scene is brought to end with the reveal that this wasn't just any Rodian scamp; it was that dastardly Greedo all along!
And if the fact that this Original Trilogy villain actually had a scuffle with the future Darth Vader all those years ago wasn't absurd enough for you, this often forgotten deleted moment also came equipped with a hilariously ominous line from his fellow Rodian mate Wald, warning the alien that if he wasn't careful he was likely going to "come to a bad end."
Wald the Wise had a bad feeling about this lad from the get-go.
