When the scenery chewing Poison Ivy and the grunting Bane come across as the more normal villains in the film, you know theres been a problem. Arnold Schwarzeneggers Dr. Victor Fries has gone down in the history books of the most infamous film performances of all time, regardless of genre. While the film tried to construct an emotional narrative built around him saving his wife, no one seemed to notice, because of all the ice puns. Seriously forget about his ridiculous plan to freeze over Gotham using a giant telescope as a modified freeze gun. You can even look past his flat dialogue and terrible costume. But not matter how much you strip away frm Mr. Freeze, those freeze puns will still linger. You are not sending me to the cooler, what killed the dinosaurs? The ice age, and lets kick so ice, are among some of his most cringe-worthy puns throughout the film and are pretty self-explanatory for why Mr. Freeze finds himself so high on this list.
