Its hard to be mad at the kid whos just lost his entire family, but man does Dick Grayson push the boundaries of audience tolerance. Despite everything Bruce tries, Dick wants nothing to do with it and instead lashes out by stealing the Batmobile and taking it for a joyride, threatening both his own life and risking exposing Batmans identity as a result. Another frustrating moment in particular is when Robin gets the drop on Two-Face when they reach the Riddlers island base, but then refuses to put him down. No one is asking Robin to murder him, but are you serious?! Helping the bad guy back up only for him to immediately turn around and capture you?! How dumb is Robin supposed to be? It doesnt matter that hes young and inexperienced, Robin just seems to make everything harder for Batman. Hes an obstacle most of the time, and for an audience, getting in the way of the hero when youre supposed to be helping them is pretty unforgivable.
