6. Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

Ploughing ahead without a care in the world, the MonsterVerse is set to get even bigger (following the Monarch TV show) with 2024's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and there are even rumours of the first appearance for Son of Kong!
We left our kaiju heroes at the conclusion of 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong with the King underground and Godzilla back in the ocean where he belongs after tag-teaming Mechagodzilla into submission, but the new film is set to bring the dynamic duo back into alignment to face a new threat that challenges all life on Earth.
Adam Wingard returns as director, but only some of the human cast from the previous film are coming back for another helping of heavyweight titan madness - namely, Rebecca Hall and Dan Stevens as Dr Ilene Andrews and Trapper. Will the film survive without Millie Bobby Brown and Alexander Skarsgard? Probably. Because, let's face it, we're not in it for the dialogue.
Sure, it's all a bit silly, but in the words of William S Preston and Theodore Logan, it's going to be excellent.
