7. A Quiet Place: Day One

Creepy sci-fi series A Quiet Place has managed to take what could have been quite a limiting premise and run with it, building a small and silent universe to play in. And they're not done with it yet.
Set for a summer 2024 release, A Quiet Place: Day One returns to the US of A for another crack at the alien origin story. This time around, we focus not on the Abbott family - as we have already well and truly covered their "day one" - but a new cast led by the always reliable Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn and Djimon Hounsou.
A prequel to the first film, A Quiet Place: Day One will take us back to the arrival of the horrendous, noise-seeking extraterrestrials and hopefully illuminate more of their hidden facets.
Pig's Michael Sarnoski is at the helm, which is a huge draw, given his skill at delivering a blend of pathos and irony in the Nicolas Cage dad/hogsploitation flick. If things go well, we can also expect to see Quiet Place Part III in 2025, with John Krasinski back on writing duties again.
