10 Most Badass Movie Death Scenes Of All Time

3. Bill Is Killed - Kill Bill Vol. 2

Kill Bill 2 Exploding Heart Technique
Miramax

It took two movies and roughly a thousand other gruesome and wonderfully inventive deaths to finally reach the titular promise of Bill's demise, but when it arrives, there's no denying that it's more than worth the journey.

Beatrix Kiddo has ticked off every other name on her Death List except one, her ex-lover and mastermind behind the wedding massacre that left her for dead, the one and only Bill.

Unlike the other major deaths in these films, there's nothing especially gruesome or savage about the way Beatrix dispatches Bill. In fact, in a weird way, it's actually kind of touching.

After she executes the Five-Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique - which is already the most badass sounding name a martial arts move could have without being called the Super Deadly Viper Kick Brain Exploder - and Bill awaits his certain death, the two share a tender moment together. Bill even calls her his favorite person.

That tenderness dissipates as Bill takes his long, slow walk toward the beyond. Yes, we can feel for Beatrix, who, at one time, cared deeply for this person she just murder punched. But then, as the music kicks up, we remember that Bill tried to murder her on her wedding day. And now we're free to relish his expiration.
