7. The Defenders Will Appear In Infinity War
There’s been a lot of talk about the rumoured discord between the TV and film departments at Marvel Studios. Apparently, Kevin Feige is not interested in any of the TV series, and has little interest in using his films to connect them. Likewise, the Netflix series appear content to focus on their small chunk of the world and not worry about the global threats going on around them.
In response to these inter-office politics, many have complained that the biggest flaws with the Netflix shows are the fact that they don’t feel connected to the MCU. After a few years of detachment, It looks as if these complaints might have finally been heard.
With seemingly every major player in Marvel getting the call for Infinity War, it sounds like that will include the Defenders as well. If Thanos is indeed mounting a global invasion as believed, it makes a lot of sense that they would at least be out on the streets helping people.
Regardless of Kevin Feige's personal feelings, it looks like he's realizing that even the smallest inclusion of this Netflix super-team would go a long way for the entire MCU.
