4. A Moon Knight Series Is Being Developed
Moon Knight follows millionaire Marc Spector who’s lost his mind after being possessed by the god Khonshu. He uses his skills as a former mercenary and Marine to fight crime on the streets, all the while dealing with the duelling personalities in his head. If that sounds exactly like the kind of character Netflix likes to make shows about, you may be right.
If the rumours are true, then Moon Knight will be the next street-level hero to get his own series. The character fits right in to that universe while still offering a unique enough perspective that would justify his own show. It's got action, a damaged hero and a wealth of character backstory and mythology to explore.
If Marvel's TV side handles things the same way as film does, it's a safe bet they're looking to slowly expand their roster. Moon Knight would be both an exciting, and feasible inclusion in the next wave of Netflix heroes.
