5. There’s An Infinity Stone In The Eye Of Agamotto
The Infinity Stones have played pivotal roles in many Marvel films already but the Time and Soul Stones are still unaccounted for. They’re sure to show up before Infinity War when Thanos has presumably collected them all, so there's been some speculation as to how they'll appear before that. One of the most convincing rumours is that one is located inside Doctor Strange’s Eye Of Agamotto.
The amulet, worn on a necklace by Strange, is one of his most important magical totems, but it's possible there's something driving that power. Kevin Feige stated that the Eye will have the ability to “screw around with time,” strongly implying that this is how the Time Stone will appear. Further supporting this theory is the mystical nature of the film in question, which would likely be the most suited to handle a concept such as time travel.
More than anything, this rumour is believable because it would immediately bring Strange into the fold with the Avengers. It would cause him to be directly involved with what Thanos wants and that would be an easy gateway to making him a bigger part of the MCU.
