10 Most Binge-Worthy Horror Movie Franchises

Any horror fan worth their salt has seen Friday the 13th more than once, but what about sitting down to power through the whole franchise? Starting in 1980, the series has produced twelve movies, each as violent and increasingly bonkers as the last.

The names Jason Voorhees and Camp Crystal Lake are synonymous with the slasher genre, as is Jason's iconic hockey mask and the films' loose relationship with plausibility but committed ties to stacking up high body counts and ending with a cliffhanger.

Though to binge your way through the entire Friday the 13th back catalogue would mean putting up with the series' sillier twists in later films, the simple fact of the matter is that the franchise knows exactly what it's going for, and makes each of its instalments a blast no matter where Voorhees is or who he's killing.

From the influential original to Voorhees' crossover battle with Freddy Krueger, Friday the 13th is a crazy blast front-to-back, and deserves to be seen again and again.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
