10 Most Brutal Deaths In James Bond Films
6. Alec Trevelyan - Goldeneye
No list of grim deaths would be complete without a Sean Bean entry. Sean Bean actually suffers three supposed 'deaths' throughout the film. The first of which is in the pre-titles sequence when he is supposedly shot by Ourumov, telling Bond to finish the mission and forget about him. This showed the audience how brilliant an agent Bond was, surviving when Alec, who was supposedly just as skilled, didn't.
Of course this is thrown back in the audience's face later on when Alec isn't really dead and he actually managed to fool Bond! He was the bad guy all along, which means that he had to actually die by the end of the film. To accommodate this fact, Bond threw Alec off the top of a satellite dish, causing him to fall hundreds of feet. Surely that'll do it, right?
Well no, Alec survived the fall. He wasn't in a fantastic state afterwards but he was still ticking along, until a good chunk of the satellite fell on him, crushing him to death.
Then again, maybe he survived that and Flat Alec will return in a future film. Or maybe not.
