10 Most Convincing Movie Psychopath Performances

8. Ryan Gosling - Drive

Undoubtedly there will be those of you reading this thinking, 'hey? He wasn't a psycho, he was just a good guy - a loved up hero', but there is certainly a case to be made for the nameless driver being an absolute psychopath. Firstly, the guy says like 20 words in the whole film. The quiet reserved type, hmm...? He's always there, like a creeping Jesus, just watching things tick over - a silent omnipresence. He makes a living trying not to die driving ferociously up ramps, otherwise he's working as a getaway driver. He is really nasty to that red haired woman that nearly gets him killed. He is really good at killing and doesn't seem to mind doing it too much. He also wears a creepy mask and kills someone on a beach. The Driver is a genuine psycho, though admittedly he's a rather cool and helpful one. Psycho nonetheless and Gosling's finest performance to date.
