Cad Bane was the most feared and deadly bounty hunter of the Clone Wars era. His clients included the worst of the worst, such as Jabba the Hutt. He was also frequently hired by both Darth Sidious and Count Dooku, unwittingly playing a role in the fall of the Republic. Not that he would have cared. As long as the money was good, Bane was in.
A master strategist, Cad Bane engineered some of the most amazing jailbreaks, heists and criminal acts in the history of the Republic. He was also an incredible fighter and marksman, making him more than a match for the Jedi. He was known to wear similar vambraces to Mandalorians, loaded with fun weapons used to even the odds against Force users.
His ultimate fate is unconfirmed, though an abandoned storyline in The Clone Wars was supposed to lead to a young Boba Fett killing him.
The last time he was seen, Bane was being taken into custody by the Jedi. It's likely that he escaped prison and went on with his life. There's a distinct chance that Bane is still out there, waiting for the right time to reemerge.
