10 Most Disappointing Horror Movie Remakes
5. Poltergeist (2015)
If you're going to come for Tobe Hooper, you better not miss - especially if it's with one of his most beloved and famous 80s movies right after The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the spooky family horror Poltergeist. Whilst those two movies might have wildly different tones, they're both indicative of just how influential Hooper has been to the industry over his active years as a filmmaker - which means they're wide open goals for chewing up and spitting back out again with a 21st century twist on them.
