10 Most Disappointing MCU Moments
8. Sif's Vanishing Act - Thor: Ragnarok
The MCU's baffling treatment of Thor's trusty pal Sif (Jaimie Alexander) was quite the misstep, given that the character was introduced in the original Thor movie as a likeable and badass female warrior, which the franchise was sorely lacking in at the time.
Though Sif returned for Thor: The Dark World, she hasn't shown up in a single movie since, making her final appearance in an April 2015 episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Sif was nowhere to be seen during the events of Thor: Ragnarok, and Joe Russo later confirmed that she was among those disintegrated by Thanos' snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.
Given that Sif was a far more charismatic and appealing love interest for Thor (Chris Hemsworth) than Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), it's frustrating that she got tossed aside so casually.
While it's possible Sif may return for Thor: Love and Thunder now that Jaimie Alexander's TV show Blindspot has ended, it's best not to get your hopes up given how disposably the character has been treated so far.
