9. Creep
Creep is perhaps the most unique film on this list, being a found-footage style documentary about videographer Aaron, who responds to an advert made by a dying man named Josef who plans to leave behind videos for his unborn son. Josef, brilliantly played by Mark Duplass, begins to act increasingly unsettling around Aaron until he is forced to drug Josef's Whisky to escape his home.
The ending of the film depicts a nail-biting scene where Aaron agrees to meet Josef in a public location and waits on a park bench. Josef then sneaks up behind Aaron and eventually strikes him in the head with an axe. It is then revealed that Josef is watching this murder tape and begins to commentate over it, confessing his love for Aaron and claiming he will always be his 'favourite'.
The ending is jaw-dropping frankly and suggests that Josef has a long history of murdering his Internet friends and reminds viewers the dangers of meeting people online.
