8. The Autopsy Of Jane Doe
The Autopsy of Jane Doe follows father-and-son coroners who attempt to uncover the mystery surrounding an unidentified woman's death and the cause of it. The pair are quickly baffled as they begin the autopsy and discover no discernible explanations for her death as well as a number of worrying abnormalities. Strange occurrences begin to take place as the pair find Roman lettering within her body which suggests that she is a witch.
The father and son are brutally killed when attempting to lift the curse on the young woman and authorities soon arrive to the horrific scene. In the final moments of the film, Jane's corpse is recovered looking untouched as it did as the start of the film and begins to twitch in the ambulance.
The disturbing conclusion of this film suggests that the entire ordeal is cyclical and has happened before and will so again, making the needless sacrifices of the characters even more tragic.
