10 Most Emotional WWE Tributes

8. Connor Michalek

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqaWjmsSJUk In 2012, Daniel Bryan became involved in a feelgood news story as he visited a terminally ill 6-year-old child called Connor Michalek as part of his make-a-wish, as he claimed to be Bryan's biggest fan. The two would stay in touch, Connor visited Bryan and the rest of the WWE locker room at live events, he even went to Wrestlemania XXX to see Daniel Bryan win the big one on the main stage, after which Bryan went over and shared a few special words with the child. Three weeks later, Connor finally lost his ongoing struggle with pediatric brain cancer. The WWE then aired a small tribute video to Connor which went around several news networks and the WWE.com website. The tribute was a lovely gesture on behalf of the WWE and was truly touching, hard not to shed a tear at. While wrestling tribute videos are usually reserved for wrestlers tragically dying years before their time, the tale of Connor Michalek is a genuinely heartwarming one, WWE should get more credit for all the good they do for the make-a-wish foundation. It also goes to show how a great guy like Daniel Bryan as the face of the company can provide endless good publicity.
