10 Most Evil Characters In MCU History

7. The Collector

From one celestial being to his brother from the comics, the Collector is at least slightly more of a villain than the Grandmaster. In the MCU he did his best to collect all six Infinity Stones, though on screen was never in possession of more than one at a time.

While in the main MCU continuity, he got no further than almost buying the Orb from the Guardians of the Galaxy, and being handed the Aether by Volstagg and Sif, his appearance in What If…? showed exactly how he would have used such power. All of this aside however, it was his collection that proved just how evil he was.

While the Grandmaster held the people of Sakaar captive, the Collector held people prisoner in a more literal sense. He ‘collected’ them and kept them in glass containers to observe whenever he wanted.

Aside from keeping the likes of a Dark Elf, Howard the Duck, and Karina’s predecessor in his glass cages, he also kept the aforementioned Karina as a slave to look after his demonic collection. It’s no wonder why she tried to destroy everything by grabbing the Power Stone.
