10 Most Evil Characters In MCU History

4. Hela

Anyone going by the title of the Goddess of Death, or the Executioner of Asgard, commanding an army of undead Berserkers is bound to be evil. You don’t get that kind of reputation and power thanks to rainbows, smiles, and sunshine.

Before Thor was even born, Hela stood by the side of her father who sought to claim the Nine Realms and rule. This wasn’t enough for his firstborn however, as she wanted more.

She not only wanted to rule, she wanted to enslave, casting a far wider net than just the Nine Realms, and you can look no further than her destruction of the Asgardian army for what she would do to anyone who stood in her way. She certainly lived up to her name of the Goddess of Death.

You could argue that Odin was the evil one here, as he locked his only daughter in Hel with literally no escape but for his own death. Certainly, he won’t be winning the Father of the Year anytime soon, but there was a reason for his actions. Had he let Hela continue with her conquests, immeasurable innocents would have been killed and enslaved for no other reason than for her unrivalled ambition.
