10 Most Evil Characters In MCU History

3. Ronan The Accuser

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Ego
Marvel Studios

Fighting to take over the entire universe is one thing, while killing and taking prisoners at will with no discrimination. It is undeniably evil, but there the reasons are usually about an ego boost or delusions of grandeur.

There is something even worse about focusing every ounce of hate and anger through to one particular part of the universe. The Kree warlord, Ronan the Accuser, was malevolent and megalomaniacal, but he didn’t seek to rule the universe. He sought to destroy one single planet.

Yes, there had been a long war between the Kree and Xandar, but both worlds were at peace. It was Ronan who held on to this grudge like no one else could, threatening to eliminate Xandarian culture completely from the face of the universe.

The people who killed Ronan’s father so many years ago weren’t on Xandar anymore. Neither Rhomann Dey, nor his wife or young daughter were guilty in this, and yet Ronan would have struck them down in cold blood with the Power Stone all the same. He may have been ultimately stopped in his plans to destroy Xandar, but he still managed to take 86,000 lives before he was killed.
