Although the Hutts are the most feared crime family in the galaxy, no one is more terrifying than Jabba. The self-proclaimed Eminence of Tatooine controls nearly every illegal operation on the planet, including trafficking, slavery, and piracy. As reprehensible as his actions are, Jabba believes his work is necessary since it generates most of Tatooine's wealth.

Despite seeing his business as necessary for the economy, Jabba is ruthless, hedonistic, and cruel (as well as really, really ugly). In Return of the Jedi, we see him enslaving prisoners, killing his workers on a whim, and feeding his own people to the Sarlaac Pit Monster.

But if you knew half the stuff Jabba has committed throughout his 600 year life, you'd realise he's worse than you originally thought. In the Jabba the Hutt: The Dynasty Trap comic, it's revealed that the nefarious slug gorges on human prisoners while they're still alive! According to The Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, he instructed one of his dancers to dress like his mother... which is... pretty messed up.

Considering he spends his spare time torturing droids, abusing animals (including his rancor), and profiting off war, Jabba doesn't seem to have a single redeeming quality.
