10 Most Gruesome Saw Traps

Seeing someone's outsides torn apart in Saw is par for the course, but seeing someone's insides get the same treatment is nothing short of disgusting. This is a diabolical trap that plays with some fascinating irony around Bobby Degan's sin and will have you cringing about how painful it is.

In this scene, Bobby walks in on his publicist Nina, who knew about his lies with Jigsaw, but sold his story anyway. She's strapped to a device that has four spiked pipes that will jam into her neck after a timer goes off. Bobby must pull on a string that's lodged down her oesophagus to obtain the key to her freedom.

However, there's more than just a key attached, as the line also bears a fishhook, which will tear her insides as he yanks it up. But, to add more fuel to the fire, these pipes are connected to a decibel counter and will get closer every time she screams.

Despite almost saving her, Bobby doesn't get the key into the device in time, and poor Nina's neck is impaled.

Overall, this is a truly disturbing trap, and while the gruesomeness isn't as in-your-face as others, the implication is one of the series' most horrifying.
