10 Most Insane Cameos In Recent Movies

6. Rosario Dawson - Opus

Opus
A24

A24's recent cult horror Opus features a number of unexpected cameos, including Lenny Kravitz and Lil Nas X as fans of pop superstar Alfred Moretti (John Malkovich), while Bill Burr and Wolf Blitzer show up briefly as themselves, but the sneakiest appearance is afforded to an actual actor - Rosario Dawson.

Now, Dawson doesn't appear physically on-screen in the film, but she does lend her voice to one of the movie's most memorably off-kilter scenes.

During a mid-film sequence where a puppet show rather creepily dramatises the tragic life of Billie Holiday - especially her complicated relationship with fame - the voice of the legendary singer is provided by none other than Dawson herself.

It's a small part and incredibly tough to notice Dawson's voice, fairly distinctive though it is, in large part because we as moviegoers just aren't expecting to hear it.

But she nevertheless brings considerable gravitas to one of the movie's most pivotal scenes - and why would she ever do anything less?
