1. Watching Bambi As A Punishment

There's an old adage that says that the punishment should always match the crime. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, an extended period watching Disney films over and over for illegal poaching. Pretty sure that last line's in the Bible somewhere, anyway.

Presumably, that's why a poacher in the US was ordered to repeatedly watch Bambi - the most fitting anti-poaching movie since it'll teach the criminal that animals have hopes and dreams and voices and beautiful eyelashes - after illegally killing hundreds of deer.

A poacher in the US has been ordered to repeatedly watch the Disney classic Bambi after he was sentenced for illegally killing hundreds of deer. He was jailed for a year and fined as well and was told "to view the Walt Disney movie Bambi, with the first viewing being on or before December 23, 2018, and at least one such viewing each month thereafter, during the defendant's incarceration in the Lawrence County Jail". To be honest, he should have been forced to watch it every day. Just because it's a really good movie, really.

This whole movies as punishment idea is ingenious really, until you realise they literally stole the idea from Addams Family Values.
