8. Rocky Balboa- Rocky's Speech

It came down to a toss up between the training montage from the original, the fight with Ivan Drago in Rocky IV and this speech. Even though Rocky Balboa is far from the best in the series I felt that when you separate the scenes, this one is slightly more poignant than the others. The message is simple really; no matter what life throws at you, it's up to you to dust yourself off and carry on and that you are responsible for the direction your life takes. If you want something in life, go and get it, but if you don't get it don't bitch, moan and lament how difficult life is. A great message from an otherwise unremarkable film.
