3. Schindler's List- He Who Saves One Life Saves the World Entire
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIp_8RNNX4k&playnext=1&list=PL3706E3F2CBB27E18&feature=results_video For me, this is one of the most powerful and emotional scenes in the history of film. Ever. The music, the raw performances, not to mention the couple of hours of drama that had gone before...by the time this scene hits emotions are already all over the place. For some reason I'm incapable of crying watching films, maybe I'm some sort of cold cynical A.I from the future or something, however this scene is up there with the closest I have ever come. How a scene could quite easily pass as both inspirational and equally depressing is boggling, but there it is. There is such a strong inspirational message here that I had no doubt that it would be in my top 3. "He who saves one life saves the world entire", such a lovely sentiment, there are really few greater messages to take away from watching a film. The life and actions of Oscar Schindler are truly an inspiration to all, and this scene is a true testament to that.
