10 Most Memorable Movie New Year's Eves

2. Looking For Mr. Goodbar (1977)

NYE - Looking For Mr Goodbar Looking for Mr. Goodbar is an interesting film that traces the sexual awakening of a dedicated elementary school teacher. With early career appearances by Diane Keaton, Richard Gere, and Tom Berenger; the film takes us through a deepening series of events leading to the murder of Diane Keaton's character, Theresa Dunn. The film and book of the same name are based on the real-life murder of New York City schoolteacher Roseann Quinn, making this film all the more disturbing. Most Memorable NYE Scene I'm tempted to say that Theresa's beating, rape, and murder comprise the most memorable NYE scene in this film. However, when it comes down to it, I've got to go with her dead face drifting farther and farther away from the screen as the movie comes to a close. That one stuck with me for a while.
