Speaking of the Sith Lord Anakin Skywalker would become, The Chosen One was back to swinging his lightsaber around and murdering a bunch of folks like they were animals one film later.

Though many of the Separatists had very much been up to no good at various points in the prequels, that still didn't mean they deserved to be viciously murdered once Emperor Palpatine decided he had no more use for them.

But that's precisely what happened in Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

After being sent to Mustafar by his new master, Darth Vader ultimately slashes his way through the likes of Nute Gunray and the rest of the Separatist gang. The appalling scene feels like something ripped right out of a slasher movie.

No one is saying that people like Gunray - who'd tried to have Padme Amidala assassinated multiple times, don't forget - shouldn't have been punished. But without even being given a fair trial, all of the beings in this room were shockingly butchered on the orders of the man who'd been manipulating them the whole time.

All this coming after Palpatine had promised his new apprentice would "take care of (them)."

Again, they were no saints, but seeing them get brutally massacred like this was still pretty rough.
