2. A Rocket-Firing Boba Fett Action Figure Was Made And Shipped

For a character who barely does much of anything within the original trilogy, it's quite remarkable just how popular the Beskar-wearing badass known as Boba Fett became.

The hype was real when it came to this instantly iconic bounty hunter even before he made his big-screen debut in The Empire Strikes Back.

So, when fans were offered the chance to get their hands on a rather cool-looking Boba Fett Kenner action figure, complete with rocket-firing feature, as part of a mail-in rebate promotion in 1979, many understandably jumped at the chance.

However, though many claim to have ultimately received this super rare version of the awesome toy, the fact the aforementioned firing backpack was deemed a choking hazard led to that specific toy being altered so that the rocket was very much attached to the figure.

A few prototypes were made, sure - with one ever selling for a whopping $236,000 in 2022 - but none of the rocket-firing toys were ever sent out to consumers, no matter what certain Star Wars fans try to tell you.
