Pretty much every Terminator ever will be in Genisys by the sound of it, but the newest addition is the same one that was recently revealed to fans in a trailer for the movie. Whatever John Connor has become is said to be the T-5000, a Terminator made of nanorobots which are able to take over and brainwash humans. John clearly won't be himself. John only being infected by this nano "virus" is why he's able to travel in time and also why he's now trying to take out his mother and Kyle in order to keep Skynet alive in the future. Here's the biggest spoiler though: John will be destroyed at the end of the movie when the T-800 blows up the Cyberdyne headquarters. It's clear that Terminator Genisys is looking to shake things up in a major way, but if Skynet have come up with something as advanced as the T-5000, what can top it in the sequels? The technology of the T-1000s apparently.
