5. The Broom Guy - Quantum Of Solace

Because the production of each Bond film involves complex action, massive sets, and multiple locations, every entry is rife with mistakes. But the average viewer is so engrossed in the story, they don't notice most of these flubs.

But there is one error in Quantum of Solace that's so bad, it's nearly impossible to miss.

When Bond receives a text message on the dock, there is an actor (and we use that term in the broadest definition possible) who is seemingly sweeping the ground. "Seemingly" because this extra's broom never makes contact with the concrete. For reasons no one will ever know, the actor decided to mime-sweep, keeping his broom several inches off the ground during this shot.

Somehow, nobody in the editing room noticed, allowing this shot to make it into the final cut. If the director clocked this screw-up, he could have easily edited the guy out. (Also, why is he in the scene? Did this shot really necessitate a sweeper?) Even though sweeping is a pretty straightforward concept, this guy never figured it out, cursing him to become the worst extra in the entire Bond franchise.
