10 Most Paused Moments In DCEU History
8. That Gal Gadot Body Double Shot - Justice League
During the extensive reshoots that took place in the lead-up to the theatrically released 2017 Justice League, with Joss Whedon stepping in for Zack Snyder during post-production after the latter exited the project due to the sudden death of his daughter, one of the most infamous moments in DCEU history ultimately came into being.
As The Flash attempts to save Wonder Woman from some falling debris, the speedster suddenly finds himself awkwardly lying on top of Diana before quickly composing himself.
But it was later reported that Gal Gadot had absolutely no intention of lending her talents to a beat that overtly sexualised the superhero, eventually refusing to take part in the scene.
And this then led to Whedon having to bring in a stunt double for the cringey attempt at a sight gag, explaining why, when you pause the lacklustre flick during this surreal coming together, you can see Wonder Woman's head is clearly facing away from the camera.
All that for one of the most jarring gags ever to grace a super-film, eh.
