Harry Osborn - played by James Franco is the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy - was the best friend of Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker. However, he turned on him when he thought he had killed his father, Norman Osborn. In Spider-Man 3, he exposed himself to his father's formula, donned his father's Green Goblin gear and attacked Parker, prior to using the same equipment to help him fight Venom and Sandman, and is known as the New Goblin as a result. The formula and Green Goblin gear granted him flight, increased strength and durability, as well as weaponry that included blades and explosive pumpkin bombs - the latter of which were capable of hurting the Sandman in giant form. He wasn't quite as tough as other versions due to his poorer armour and lack of real displays of strength, but his flight and ability to attack from range are what really put him above the other characters on this list.
