Next up is Harry Osborn's father - the first character to appear as the Green Goblin in a Spider-Man movie - Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborn. He was the main villain of the first Spider-Man movie - and a recurring character in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy - who turned evil and insane due to his exposure to his own performance-enhancing serum, which was meant for military use. It did, however, grant him super-strength and durability. Such was his strength that he could quite easily out-muscle Spider-Man. When he donned the Green Goblin armour, his strength was augmented further and his durability increased massively, as it was largely metal-plated and covered his entire body, including his head. He could also fly using the equipment and possessed weapons like pumpkin bombs and blades. It is his superior armour that puts him ahead of his son on this list.
