Skulls are a surefire way to making anything look that little bit more badass. Got a cool band logo that needs making metal as hell? Stick a skull on it. Got a bookshelf that's looking particularly nerdy with all those dumb, dusty tomes? Throw a skull on it. Got a headless horseman going around separating heads from shoulders in the name of a tricky witch's curse? To be honest, that already sounds badass enough - but there's still a skull involved!

The big old head bone of a Hessian mercenary is used throughout Sleepy Hollow to command his undead body to kill whoever the owner desires, with the vengeful Lady Mary Van Tassel using it to wipe out the families that wronged her as a child. Unkillable, determined, and pin sharp in his pursuit of his victims, owning the skull of the Hessian is a powerful position to be sitting in, with the ability to murder any and all with little resistance thanks to his honed and deadly skills.

Fortunately, even though he's too evil to set foot in church, he's luckily a dab hand with a harpoon, too.
