What's It About? A private detective looks for a runaway teenager and accidentally stumbles upon a group of cultists posing as prostitutes who sacrifice their clientele using the most practical weapon possible: A Chainsaw. Does It Live Up To The Name? Well, the movie starts off with a prostitute covering up her beloved portrait of Elvis so that it doesn't catch the blood splatter of her latest victim so...yes I'd say it does. If we were to ever shoot one B-grade horror movie into space to show anyone that found it that particular aspect of our global film culture, you could make the argument that movie should be Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers. Everything that you could possibly want from a movie called Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers is on display here and it's all presented with a kind of carefree joy that you can't help but love. Bonus points must also be awarded to the film's tagline: "They'll charge you an arm and a leg."
