10 Most Ridiculous Horror Movie Death Scenes
5. Impaled By Shotgun - Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers
The Halloween series is one of horror's crown jewels. Michael Myers was the template for the likes of Jason and Freddy, and started the slasher trend that dominated 1980s horror. However, as is the case with all other franchises in the genre, Halloween was not immune to some weak entries.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers was, as the name suggests, the movie that brought Myers back into the picture following his apparent death in the second instalment. Myers awakes from a coma and goes back to Haddonfield in search of his niece, and again wreaks havoc on the town.
Haddonfield's Sheriff, Ben Meeker, has a daughter by the name of Kelly. The teenager changed her clothes, made some coffee, and went to serve it when she realised the recipient was dead! Michael Myers then stands up from a chair at the table, shotgun in hand, and somehow impales Kelly with it, right through the wall!
It's a ridiculously dumb concept but makes for a pretty startling scene. It's also a callback to when he used a butcher's knife to impale a chap to a wall in the original.
No bullets? No problem for Michael Myers.
