6. Samuel L Jackson Vs Motherf**kin' Snakes - Snakes On A Plane (2006)
If the definition of high concept filmmaking is a picture that isnt supposed to impress critics or win awards and can be summed in a dozen words (or less), then Snakes On A Plane is the ultimate high concept movie. The title alone was enough to secure the services of Samuel L Jackson, who signed up to appear in a (cough) serious film about gangsters trying to kill a witness by putting snakes on his flight, but when parodies began appearing online, the filmmakers decided to incorporate them into their movie. Considering the script, that wasnt a bad idea. Casually racist, sexist and homophobic, populated by laughable stereotypes and characters you know are pure evil just by looking at them, Snakes is a moron movie in any version, and the fact that the filmmakers werent even in on their own joke speaks volumes. Plus, who wants to board a plane piloted by Cooter from the Dukes of Hazzard movie?
