3. Ninja Turtles Love Pizza Hut
Now this one just doesn't make any sense at all. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are, supposedly, seasoned connoisseurs of the pizza pie. Living in New York City, there's no shortage of excellent Italian dough-based treats to be had; even if they only focus on the establishments which claim to provide the best pizza in the city, they're still gonna be spoilt for choice. Who knows how exactly they get the pizza, what with them being terrifying anthropomorphic bi-pedal turtles with ninja weaponry and martial arts training, but just go with it. Their love of pizza is well established in all of their forms. If they eat it so often, though, and are presumably sort of experts of it, why would they order from Pizza Hut? Corporate synergy, that's why. Producer Michael Bay is all over the product placement game, and he made sure that last year's live action Ninja Turtles reboot gave a shout out to Pizza Hut, including several scenes where the company's takeaway boxes are prominently placed.
