3. Turkish Batman (1973)
Due to the popularity of the Batman series of the 1960s, director Günay Kosova decided to retell the story with a spin: In a Turkish city, the ten most beautiful women are being brutally murdered one by one and it is left to Batman and Robin to enact justice on the serial killer.
This adaptation of the beloved superhero comic has far more in common with spy thrillers of the 1930s and 1940s than with anything related to The Dark Knight franchise; as you might have expected, the hilarity never slacks off either .
In one scene, Turkish Batman and Robin are driving while wearing their regular clothes as they happen to come across an assault taking place but as they stop the car and jump out to foil the crime, they are suddenly fully clad in their superhero onesies!
Compared to his western equivalent, Turkish Batman is far more laissez-faire and likes to spend his off time chilling with Robin in their favorite hideout - the strip club! So one minute, you might see the Turkish superhero duo busy enjoying a strip show and before you know it, they’re mercilessly whooping ass in the most acrobatic way ever.
