It's never easy shooting a sex scene for a movie.

Two actors are required to get incredibly intimate whilst also trying to stick to the blocking they've been given in order to avoid any, let's say, unflattering moments on camera.

So, in an effort to make Dakota Johnson feel a little more comfortable when immersed in many of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) passionate sex scenes in Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), the film's cinematographer Seamus McGarvey later revealed that the actor was given a 'kind of a patch that went over her pubic area'. Then, in a rather peculiar attempt to make the raunchy scenes look as authentic as possible, CGI pubic hair was eventually added to Johnson in post-production on top of the patch.

Understandably, most people weren't exactly on the lookout for digitally crafted hair in that region when they first experienced the movie adaptation of E. L. James' novel of the same name. However, it wasn't the only piece of subtle movie magic used when it came to Johnson's body in the flick.

A butt double was also brought in for a scene when her character was struck on the bottom with a belt, with Johnson later revealing, 'That was not my bum, because I didn't want to get hit with a belt.' Which is fair enough.

Acting can be a weird job on occasion, can't it?
