Much like their human co-stars, if a movie pooch doesn't want to do a specific deed on set it's up to the studio and filmmakers to think of another way to achieve the desired shot.

However, not every problem can be solved with a healthy dollop of CGI and that's something those who noticed an odd looking doggy deuce in John Wick (2014) found out all on their own.

The film's director Chad Stahelski revealed that the team weren't able to give the animal playing John Wick's (Keanu Reeves) puppy - gifted to him by his deceased wife - a laxative. So, instead of investing in some realistic looking fake crap from their local joke shop, the studio ultimately spent a truly ridiculous $5,000 digitally rendering a pile of dog faeces.

It would be fine if the finished product seamlessly sat in the grass like dog sh*t is known to do, but the mound of CGI poop hilariously/unrealistically floats on the ground and proved to be a rather pointless investment by the time the movie hit cinema screens.

Thankfully the rest of John Wick was a heart-stopping thrill ride. But, for one brief shot, Stahelski and co seriously sh*t the lawn.
