10 Most Ridiculous Uses Of CGI In Movie History
7. Lindsay Lohan's "Offensive" Chest Size - Herbie: Full Loaded
It's fair to say that the CGI used in Disney's Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005) hasn't exactly aged well in the years since its release.
However, the various dodgy digital moments which saw Herbie hopping over other vehicles or driving on a fence with ease, were all over-shadowed by the effects used to alter the film's star - Lindsay Lohan.
After screening the family-friendly flick to a test audience, it was said that many in the crowd were offended by Lohan's chest size and felt that her character was simply too raunchy to appear in the sequel to the original Love Bug series. So, the film's digital effects team reportedly set about reducing the young star's bosom in many of the scenes she appeared in; also raising the neckline on certain items of her clothing.
Despite the film's director Angela Robinson outright denying this to be the case, Lohan's own comments on the situation seem to suggest that some digital tinkering was definitely present. Lohan confessed, 'I don't know how Renee Zellweger kept swelling and shrinking for Bridget Jones. It's no fun. Bring on the computer guys.'
