7. Let's Hear It For The Boy - Footloose

The undoubtable highlight of this movie, which somehow managed to capture the hearts and minds of everyone who was between the ages of 12 and 17 back in 1984, is the "Let's Hear It For The Boy" montage. Sure, you can probably make fun of me for including such a girly montage on this list, but to that I say... please, don't do that. Note to you: It might prove impossible to avoid toe-tappin' whilst you're watching this one. Basically, it depicts Kevin Bacon teaching Chris Penn how to dance whilst Deniece Williams' "Let's Hear It For The Boy" plays over the top. It's a bromance of the highest order, though there are certainly a few elements here that you would not find in a modern day flick.
