6. Van Damme Vs. House - Double Team
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6TXg5hx3t4 Montage Type: Re-Training Having Suffered A Horrific Injury There are probably about eighty-seven or so training montages inherent to Jean Claude Van Damme's filmography that I could have included here, but this one is my favourite, because it's just balls to walls insane. Having suffered an injury and looking to get back into shape, ala Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight Rises, Van Damme's character in Double Team uses what tools are available to him at his house (i.e. not a Batcave crammed with gadgets). This translates somehow into a scene where Van Damme clambers around the walls of his own establishment like some kind of crazed spider-man hybrid (and not the cool kind). He's grabbing whatever he can in order to restore himself to full health, and nothin' or nobody can tell him any different - especially his bed, which he randomly breaks apart and uses to create a pulley system for a bucket full of rocks, which he proceeds to smash about the place. It's a deranged sequence, and I can't get enough of it. And just listen to those guitars. Woo!
