Steven Spielberg's 1993 dino-classic may be one of the most spectacular pieces of filmmaking ever to land on a cinema screen, but it's also one of the most stressful.

However, while the wonderfully frightening, glass-shaking arrival of the big bad T-Rex during this first visit to Jurassic Park will never not produce chills, it's actually those scarily intelligent Velociraptors that find themselves at the centre of this sci-fi masterpiece's most intense moment.

Forced to sprint into one of the park's kitchens as the two realise they're not alone mid-feast, Tim and Lexie Murphy soon learn the hard way just how clever these prehistoric predators actually are.

Every panicked scurry or fearful gasp feels like it could be the catalyst for another shocking dino dinner, with both the impressive CGI and practical versions of the pair of vicious killing machines fully convincing you that one accidental sound could bring this chaotic ride to a tragic end for the youngsters.

The stressful and entirely iconic moment Tim almost ends up getting caught by a sniffing monster, before Lexie successfully just about distracts the two murderous beasties with a clever reflection trick, that alone is Spielberg at his marvellous best.
