6. Keira Knightley - Domino

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBXrUu9EZ7Q Tony Scott's Domino doesn't exactly stand as one of his better efforts, and in fact, it's probably one of his worst, if surely his most ill-conceived purely on the basis of casting Keira Knightley as feisty bounty hunter Domino Harvey. Knightley is wrong for the role in every way, her posh British accent failing to make her seem tough at all, and her wafer-thin frame does not help either; there's never a feeling of threat that she could really take any of these guys on. Rather, the feeling is that any of them could snap her neck like a chicken's if they so wanted. It's worth noting that the real Domino was a model much like Knightley, but you need only venture to Google to see how badass she looked when she became a bounty hunter, and that is not at all replicated on screen here by Knightley. Her attempts to be intimidating, tough and sexy all fall flat, making this easily her most misguided role and one of action cinema's most beguiling pieces of casting.
