4. Virus - The Matrix
Never before had an action movie with so much violence talked up to its audience the way The Matrix did. The way the awesome dialogue blended with awesome action sequences is why this incredible piece of art is still worshiped by fanboys today. But it is this scene, where the movie's main antagonist, Agent Smith (played with menacing cold by ubiquitous uber villain Hugo Weaving), reveals his disdain for humanity, that stands out as its most underrated. In a brilliantly-written scene that sees Smith interrogating Morpheus, he compares humanity to a virus. As the only two organisms on Earth that "move into an area, consume.. and the only way you can survive is to move to another area." Add to that the comic complaint of why the computer program hates humanity and the Matrix itself ("it's the smell!"), and you've got a recipe for a classic moment right in front of you.
